Guacamole

Avocados are one of my favorite fruits. I enjoy having them on their own, in salads, sandwiches, and of course... in dips too! Here's a simple Guacamole  recipe that  I use for Quesadilla and Tostadas

Mash ripe avocados in a bowl, add chopped tomatoes and finely chopped garlic. Squeeze juice of half a lime and mix well (this also helps prevent the avocado from turning brown due to oxidation). Sprinkle some salt and pepper to taste. If preferred, you can add some finely chopped onions and jalapenos too.

Happy trying, and remember to have fun in the kitchen!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados - mashed
  • 1/2 medium sized tomato - chopped
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 1/2 clove of garlic - finely chopped (If preferred, you can add some finely chopped onions and jalapenos too)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
