Breakfast/Brunch Ideas 02: Poached Eggs with Baby Bellas

We love our weekend brunch . It's som e thing that we look forward to the night before itself .  This is a simple breakfast/brunch idea that you too can try at the comfort of your own home after a good night 's sleep : ) Toast the muffi ns/ have your favorite spread on according to your preference and set it aside. Heat butter over a non-stick pan. G en tly s tir fry baby bellas over high heat for 3 minutes . B ring heat d own to medium , continue s tir frying until baby bellas are about half way done and add dried basil .  Add in diced to matoes and stir fry until tomatoes begin to light ly soften. Add sea salt to taste, and remove baby bellas and tomatoes from pan. Next, poach e ggs an d place them on muffins . Splash a dash of Worce stershire sauce and s prinkle some pepper and dried herbs over the poached eggs . Add a side of baby spinach with c rumbled aged cheddar. You 're done!  Poaching the egg s: In a pan, heat up 6 cups

Baked Salmon

This is a simple version of B aked S a lmon that's perfect for those busy weekdays. You can get this tasty and healthy home cooked meal done under 30 minut es. Pre-heat oven at 350 ° F an d line a 9" x 9" pan with foil. Place salmon fillets in and drizzle o live oil over them .  Evenly drizzle half a tablespoon of lemon juice and sprinkle sea salt, garlic powder, along wi th dried thyme and oregano. Bake for 20 minutes.  H appy trying, and remember to have fun in the kitchen! Ingredients: 4 pieces of fresh caught salmon fillets 1 tablesp oon of e x tra virgin olive oil 1/2 tables poo n of lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt  1/2 teasp oon of garlic powder 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of dried t hyme and oregano herb mix

Asian Fusion: Crunchy Stir Fried Beef

Crunchy Stir Fried Beef is a simple dish that can be served with rice as a meal , or on it s own as a side dish . Alternatively, you could also use this as a filling to your favorite wrap ! Great for those days whe n you're looki ng to make something quick yet satisfying to the palate.  This recipe serves 4 portions.  Heat olive oil in a non stick pan and add in minced beef. You can choose the am ount of fat content in the meat wh en you shop, w e use 97% lean meat. Stir fry meat on high heat for 5 minutes. Add in Worc estershire sauce unto meat , Chinese five spice blend, and baby bellas . S tir well, and let ingredients cook on high heat for another 5 minutes covered. Bri ng heat down to medium, add in cashew nuts, ce lery, ground black pepper, dried basil an d continue to stir fry uncovered until meat is tender and wel l cooked. Be careful not to get cashew nuts burnt. Stir in baby spinach just about 2 minutes before turning heat off , a dd sea salt

Asian Fusion: Sweet and Spicy Sesame Chicken

You can get this dish done even if you're a busy person who works or stud ies full time. It's really simple and fast. The prep , entire cooking time, and kitchen clea n up can be done within 4 0 minutes. You'll get to enjo y tasty home cooked meal at a fractio n of the cost o f eating out. To prepare your Swe et and Spicy Sesame Chicken, line a 9" x 9 " pan with foil and drizzle with a tablesp oon of olive oi l. Place chicken pieces in the pan and drizzle a tablespoon of olive oil on them.  In a bowl, mix together hoisin sauce, orange sauce, ground Chinese fi ve spice, ground ginger, crushed red pepper, and sea salt. Brush the mixture over the chicken pieces. Lastly, sprinkle sesame seed and bake uncovered for 25 minutes in a pre-heated oven at 450°F. Your Sweet and Spicy Sesame Chicken is now ready! You can serve it over quinoa and brown rice or any grain / carbohydrates of your choice ... or just have it on its own.   H appy

Coconut and Cashew Ice Cream

Mmmm... Creamy ice cream that you can whip up in your own kitchen using just a food blender/processor :) It's so simple and fast. You'll be done in 20 minutes including wash up time.  Add coconut cream, heavy whipped cream, cashew nuts, and honey into your food blender/ processor. Whip the mixture for about 2 minutes or until all the ingredients are mixed well and cashew nuts are crushed fine. Pour mixture out into a storage container and freeze for at least 4 hours. You'll soon be enjoying your very own creamy Coconut and Cashew Ice Cream!  H appy trying, and remember to have fun in the kitchen!
