Pesto

This is a simple pesto recipe I made using fresh Basil and Sage from our garden. You can use pesto in your pasta or as a dip. It's not only delicious, but healthy too!

Rinse Basil and Sage leaves, and put them in the blender. Add in cashew nuts, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, and blend all the ingredients well. Add some salt according to your taste preference.

If you find your pesto too dry, you can add in a little more extra virgin olive oil.

Happy trying, and remember to have fun in the kitchen!

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of fresh Basil leaves
  • 3 pieces of fresh Sage leaves
  • 1/2 cup unsalted cashew nuts
  • 1/2 cup of  extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  •  Salt (according to preference)
