Asian Fusion: Braised Chicken with Lettuce

Heat sesame oil in a non-stick pan. Add in sliced sweet onions and dried Szechuan peppers/ Chile de arbol. Stir fry ingredients until fragrant.

Next, add in diced chicken pieces and stir fry on high heat for about two minutes. Add water and baby Bellas. Cover, and leave them to cook on medium heat.

About five minutes before removing from heat, add in lettuce leaves, ground black pepper, and sea salt to taste. Serve with quinoa, rice, or any grain of your choice.

Happy trying, and remember to have fun in the kitchen!
