Asian Fusion: Braised Chicken with Lettuce

Heat sesam e oil in a non-stick pan. Add in sliced sweet onions and dried Szechuan peppers/ Chile de arbol. Stir fry ingredients until fragrant. Ne xt, add in diced chic ken pieces and stir fry o n high heat for about two minutes. Add water and baby B ellas . Cover, and le ave them to cook on medium heat.  About five minutes before rem oving from heat, add in lettuce leaves, ground black pepper, and s ea salt to taste. Serve with quinoa , rice , or any grain of your cho ice.   Ha ppy trying , and remember to have fun in the kitchen !   Ingredients: 2 tablespoons of s esame oil 1 cup of sliced sweet on ions 5 pieces of dried Szechuan peppers/ Chile de arbol 2 cups of diced chicken pieces 1 cup of quartered baby Bellas 5 pieces of shredded lettuce leaves    1 tea spoon of ground black pepper (or more , according to your hea t preference)  Ground sea salt to taste

Quesadilla

I enjoy having warm , toasty q uesadilla with guacamole and salsa. So, I decided to try making them at home. Here 's a simple version that I make with corn tortillas.  Pre-heat oven to 400 ° F . Lay corn tortillas on a flat pan (I used a round pizza pan and was ab le to make 4 smal l quesadillas ) . Sprinkle pieces of cooked chicken pieces, cheddar , and mozzarella . Cover with another piece of corn tortilla.  Bake fo r 3 minutes until che ese has melted. Cut into quarters and serve wi th guacamole , salsa, or spinach dip. H a pp y trying, and reme mber to have fun in the kitchen! Ingredients: 8 corn tortillas 1/4 cu p of cooked chicken breast meat 2 table spoons of cheddar 2 tablespoons of mozarella  

Asian fusion: Chicken/Pork Curry

Thick gravy, fragrant, spicy... yummm... We enjoy our curries wi th naan, and over couscous too .  You may use this recipe with chicken or por k meat. Heat olive oil and add cloves, caraway seeds , c umin , red oni on, and ginger. S tir fry them lightly un til fragrant.  Add curry powder, chilli powder, ground turmeric, c rushed red pepper, and water. Stir all ingredient s well, add potatoes, a nd leave to simmer until potato es are about half -cooked. Add in meat, more water, and mix well . Cover, and leave the me at to cook . About fiv e minutes before removing from heat, add in coc onut milk , tomato es , and sal t. L et them simmer in medium to low heat. Add fresh pars ley just before turning the heat off.  We grow our own parsley . This variant that we have is Italian Parsley.   Dish out your curry, and enjoy it with bread or grain of your choice.  Happ y trying, and reme mber to have fun in the kitchen! Ingredients: ...
